Taking inspiration from some of my favourite artists: Kandinsky, Chagall, Klee, Basquiat and Picasso - this is one of the first of a series of experimental digital compositions and paintings.
New Media, Abstract Expressionist Experimental Artwork - Limited Editions
*This artwork is based on a David Byrne Title Sequence I originally created for a Music Channel whilst working in Italy some years back. The brief was to create a Picasso influenced and Cubist stylised animation where the background was composed of moving concert material and the foreground was taken from the interview footage (of David Byrne) - Quite literally a 'Talking Head'. This artwork is a composite using many of those images as inspiration with experimental new media, digital overpainting. This was actually one of the very first artworks from my original foray into the Art World... and as such seems quaintly basic to me now - but successful, (hopefully), nonetheless. (Czar Catstick)
