Some Bloke from Bradford (Square): David Hockney Portrait (Digital Collage, Painting & Photo Composite)
I was completely blown away by the Retrospective at Tate Britain. I have been working on a series of portraits inspired by the exhibition. This particular artwork is a re-working of an earlier piece with an abstracted version of one of his paintings in the background)
I have used several different types of digital paint brushes and displacement effects. The jacket, shirt and tie are made from random photos forming a Hockney influenced photo-montage composition.
